Job Roles

Create job roles that can be tied to users. Job roles can be used to dictate an hourly rate for timed billing from the Case Manager, or they can simply be used as another way of grouping users together for reporting.

Creating a new Job Role

A job role code must be unique and may only contain alpha and/or numeric characters. There can be no spaces. Enter your job role in the “Code” field.

Describe the Job Role where indicated.

Select the charge rate from the “Timed Bill Charge Scale” select box.

Click “Save”.

Update an Existing Job Role

Enter the existing Job Role in the “Code” field, or select from the drop-down list.

Once you have entered the code, the record will be opened for you to amend accordingly.

Make your amendments then click “Save” to save your changes.

Alternatively you may wish to delete a job role by clicking the “Delete” button on the Action Bar.

Tip: Charge rates for different job roles can be different on a client by client basis. In such cases, go to Client Maintenance > Charge Overrides page and specify the client specific rates where indicated.

Tip: If you want to delete a job role, please ensure it is not assigned to any users or clients in the charge override.
